Instant kava is different than micronized kava. The main reason is that instant kava has gone through a process that eliminates the wood fibers and is left with only high-quality material. It is a type of water-extracted kava that goes through the identical process of making a traditional bowl of kava. The root powder is soaked in water, kneaded to extract the kavalactones, filtered.
